Part II. Colonial America.
2. The known world enlarges. Discovery and conquest of the Indies, 1492-1550.
3. The British colonies in North America. Portuguese America, from 1500 to 1808. French and Dutch Colonialism in America.
4. The colonial economic system : mining and trade, agriculture, status and social revolts.
5. Policy and colonial administration. Colonization, evangelization and resistance. Cultural manifestations. Reforms in the 18th century.
